Cookie Notice
This notice explains the browser storage and optional form-protection service used on iCode’s website. You can read the site and contact us by email without enabling optional services.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent back to the site in matching requests. Other browser storage can remember settings without sending them with every request. Session storage ends with a browsing session; persistent storage remains until its expiry or deletion.
This notice covers both cookies and similar storage. A service can also receive technical information through a network request without setting a cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile is therefore included in these controls even when it does not issue a clearance cookie.
2. Your choices
The preference banner offers Accept optional, Reject optional and Settings. Optional form protection starts off. Accept optional enables it; Reject optional keeps it off. Both choices allow you to continue reading the website.
Settings lets you review the purpose of the service and change its selection before saving. Closing settings without saving preserves your previous choice. Necessary storage for remembering your privacy choice is handled separately from the optional service.
You can reopen the controls using Change Cookie Preferences on any page. If you clear site data, use another browser or device, or your choice expires, the site may ask again. We also ask again when a change requires a new choice, such as a new optional purpose or provider.
3. Storage used by iCode
Privacy choice
First-party storage remembers whether you enabled or declined external form protection, when you made the choice and which notice version it applies to. It is used to respect your choice, including a refusal. The lifetime is six months from the time you save it, unless you change or delete it sooner.
Language choice
First-party storage remembers a language you select so the site can use it on later visits. The lifetime is six months from the time you select a language. We do not need to store your browser’s full language list.
The language of a directly opened page takes priority. If you have no saved choice and open the site without a language in the address, the site selects a supported browser language or defaults to English. You can always select another language manually.
The final storage names, storage type and exact expiry values will be listed here after the production implementation is verified.
4. Optional Cloudflare Turnstile
Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., helps distinguish people from automated submissions. It loads only after you enable external form protection and use a page that needs it. It can receive technical signals, including your IP address, browser information and details of the site requesting verification.
The widget returns a short-lived, single-use verification token. Our server checks the token with Cloudflare before accepting an enquiry. The token is valid for five minutes; this is not a statement about how long Cloudflare retains technical data.
The planned configuration uses token verification without optional pre-clearance. Pre-clearance can additionally issue a cookie called cf_clearance, with an expiry controlled by the site’s Cloudflare settings. It is not part of the proposed configuration. Any storage observed in the final widget and hosting setup will be recorded before publication.
See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum and our Privacy Notice for processing roles, providers and the status of international-transfer information.
5. Declining or withdrawing form protection
If you decline protection, the form is unavailable for submission, but the public pages remain accessible and you can email contact@i-code.com. We do not send an unverified form or convert it into an email without your action.
To withdraw an earlier choice, open Change Cookie Preferences, turn off form protection and save. This stops the service from loading on subsequent pages. If it has already loaded, the site will prompt a reload and warn you to copy any unsent message first. Deleting a script alone does not undo requests already made.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place lawfully before it. iCode cannot directly remove storage set on another provider’s domain; you can manage that storage through your browser settings.
6. What is not used
The site has no advertising cookies, visitor analytics, social-media tracking widgets or newsletter subscription. Fonts and graphics are served with the site. The legal-search illustration uses prepared examples and does not connect to an AI model or the government search service.
Links to other websites are ordinary links. If you follow one, that site’s own cookie and privacy notices apply.
7. Browser controls and contact
Your browser settings can block or delete cookies and other site data. This can remove saved language and privacy preferences and may prevent form verification from working. Direct email remains an alternative.
