Privacy Notice
This notice explains how iCode handles personal data on this website and when you contact us about our services. It covers website enquiries, rather than data processed within a client’s software or AI system. Project-specific processing is addressed separately in the relevant agreements and privacy information.
1. Controller and contact
iCode Computing Ltd. (iCode Ltd.) is responsible for the processing described in this notice. Our registered office is Dankó Pista u. 14., 6723 Szeged, Hungary.
For privacy questions or requests, write to gdpr@i-code.com. Further company details are in our Impressum.
2. When you visit the website
Our hosting infrastructure receives technical information needed to deliver pages and investigate faults or abuse. This can include your IP address, the requested page, access time, browser information, referring page and the server’s response. We use this information to keep the website available and secure, based on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable business website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
The site has no visitor analytics, advertising trackers, newsletter subscription or user accounts. Fonts and the illustrative legal-search animation are served with the website. The animation plays prepared examples; it does not send a search to an AI model or the government portal.
3. When you contact us
We use your name, email address, message and any company information you provide to understand your enquiry, reply and discuss a possible project. The form requires a name, email and message; company is optional. Providing information is voluntary, but we need enough detail and a working reply address to respond. Please do not include passwords or confidential documents.
For business enquiries made on behalf of a company, our basis is our legitimate interest in responding and maintaining business communications (Article 6(1)(f)). Where you personally request steps towards a contract with us, Article 6(1)(b) applies to those steps.
Submitted messages are delivered to our business mailbox through our website’s mail service. The staff handling your enquiry can access the correspondence. Enquiries are not added to a marketing mailing list.
4. Preferences and form protection
We remember your selected language and privacy choices so the site can respect them on later visits. Remembering those choices serves our legitimate interest in providing the preferences you request (Article 6(1)(f)).
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form against automated submissions. On this site, it loads only after you choose to enable external form protection. We rely on your consent for this optional processing (Article 6(1)(a)). You can decline it and email us directly instead. An unverified form cannot be submitted.
Turnstile receives technical signals such as your IP address, browser identifier, connection fingerprint and the site on which verification occurs. Our server validates the returned token with Cloudflare before accepting the form. Cloudflare acts as a processor for protection of our site and as a separate controller when it uses signals to improve its bot detection. Its Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains that separate processing and its stated legitimate-interest basis.
You can withdraw consent through Change Cookie Preferences. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. If form protection has already loaded, the site will explain that a reload is needed and warn you to preserve any unsent message. You can continue contacting us by email.
See the Cookie Notice for storage details and preference lifetimes.
5. Providers and recipients
Website hosting is provided by Websupport Magyarország Kft., under the Magyar Hosting brand: Fehérvári út 97–99., 1119 Budapest, Hungary; info@mhosting.hu. The provider hosts the website and our contact@i-code.com mailbox, processing website technical data and storing incoming and outgoing enquiry correspondence.
Website-form messages are sent to this mailbox. The outgoing mail configuration and any additional delivery provider will be confirmed before the form goes live.
Form protection is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Its Privacy Policy and Turnstile addendum describe its processing.
Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for the purposes described here. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
6. Processing outside the EEA
Cloudflare’s service can involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Cloudflare publishes information about its international transfer arrangements in its Privacy Policy.
The final notice will identify the transfer safeguards applicable to iCode’s service arrangements and how to obtain a copy. Hosting and email processing locations also remain to be confirmed; the provider’s registered address alone does not establish where data is processed.
7. How long we keep information
Enquiry correspondence is kept while we handle your request and any resulting discussions. For enquiries that do not become projects, we delete the correspondence 12 months after the last substantive exchange, unless a specific legal duty or dispute requires us to retain it longer.
If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant correspondence becomes part of the business relationship and is subject to the applicable contractual, accounting and legal retention requirements. Information needed for a specific dispute may be kept until that matter and any applicable retention duties are resolved.
Language and privacy choices are remembered for six months from an explicit saved choice, unless changed or deleted sooner. Technical logs, security records, any separate consent-evidence records and backups have separate retention needs. Their periods and deletion arrangements will be specified after the hosting, mail and consent configuration is confirmed.
8. Your privacy rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances, and withdraw consent at any time.
Send requests to gdpr@i-code.com. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month; complex or numerous requests can take up to two additional months, with reasons provided within the first month.
We do not use website enquiries for decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Automated form verification only controls the submission channel; direct email remains available.
9. Complaints
You may complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), or to another competent EEA supervisory authority, particularly where you live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred. You do not have to contact us first. You may also seek a judicial remedy.
NAIH: Falk Miksa utca 9–11., 1055 Budapest, Hungary. Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., Hungary. Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu. See NAIH’s website for complaint procedures and current contact details.
10. External links and notice updates
If you follow a link to another website, that website’s own privacy information applies. We update this notice when the site’s processing changes and show the revision date here. A notice update does not itself provide consent for a new optional service.
