Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the permitted use of iCode’s public website, its information and its illustrative demonstrations. Our development, consulting and support engagements are covered by separately agreed project terms.
1. Website operator
The website is operated by iCode Computing Ltd. (iCode Ltd.), Dankó Pista u. 14., 6723 Szeged, Hungary. Company registration number: 06-09-008617.
You can contact us at contact@i-code.com. Full company and hosting details are available in the Impressum.
2. Website information and project agreements
The website describes our experience and the services we can discuss with prospective customers. Sending an enquiry or receiving an automated delivery confirmation does not create a development, consulting or support contract.
Project scope, deliverables, pricing, intellectual property, deployment, confidentiality and support commitments are agreed separately. Published examples and reference-project results describe their own context; they are not a promise of identical results for another project.
3. Illustrative demonstrations
The legal-search animation contains prepared questions and shortened answers. Typing, retrieval and answer streaming are animated for illustration. It is not a live search service, and its playback speed is not a performance measurement of the referenced system.
Legal examples provide general information and do not constitute legal advice. They may omit exceptions or become outdated. Check the linked legislation and obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances before relying on an example.
Links to the government portal and other third-party services take you to separately operated websites. Their own access conditions and privacy information apply there.
4. Using and sharing website content
Unless indicated otherwise, rights in the website’s original text, design and graphics belong to iCode or the relevant rights holders. Third-party names, logos, source materials and software components remain subject to their respective rights and licences.
You may link to our pages and save or print copies for personal use or internal business evaluation. Keep attribution and rights notices intact, and do not alter a copy in a way that misrepresents iCode or the original material.
For republication, commercial reuse or use of the iCode logo beyond permissions granted by law or an applicable licence, please contact us first. These terms do not restrict statutory exceptions or rights granted under a third-party licence, and do not claim exclusive rights over linked legislation or public information.
5. Appropriate use
Use the website lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not send spam, impersonate another person or organisation, submit malicious content, attempt unauthorised access, bypass form protection or deliberately disrupt the site.
We may reject abusive submissions or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the site and its users. If a technical protection prevents a legitimate enquiry, contact us by email.
6. Enquiries and confidential information
Please provide accurate contact details and share only information you are entitled to disclose. The general contact form is intended for an initial project discussion. Do not send passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential project documents through it.
If a discussion requires confidential material, contact us to agree suitable confidentiality terms and a transfer method. This guidance does not remove any duties we already owe under law or an existing agreement.
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle enquiry data. The Cookie Notice explains preferences and form protection. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
7. Availability, accuracy and responsibility
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate. Pages may change, and access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, faults or security measures. Please tell us if you find a material error.
Our responsibility for the website is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability for intentional wrongdoing, injury to life, physical integrity or health, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not reduce mandatory consumer rights. Project warranties and service levels are addressed in the relevant project agreement.
8. Applicable law and disputes
Hungarian law applies to these website terms, subject to applicable mandatory protections, including those available to consumers under European Union law. This wording does not deprive a consumer of protections that would otherwise apply under the mandatory law of their habitual residence.
The courts with jurisdiction are determined by applicable Hungarian and European Union rules. These terms do not impose an exclusive court on website visitors or restrict their statutory complaint or court remedies.
9. Updates and contact
We may revise these website terms as the site develops. The current version and its revision date will be published on this page. A change to these website terms does not amend a separate project agreement.
For questions about these terms or permission to reuse material, write to contact@i-code.com.
